Hey everyone! This is Amber Sides with the Sandhills Cattle Association and this is your update on the Sandhills Cattle News!
The Sandhills Cattle Newsletter was mailed out on Monday so be on the lookout as there as is lots of information about upcoming sales that you don’t want to miss.
You are probably wondering who I am as well! Again, my name is Amber Sides and I am the new Outreach Coordinator working alongside Liz Kierl. I will be doing more of the direct communications with our members, so when you call, I will probably be the one that answers! I will also be assisting in the creation of the newsletter, member advertisements, our radio ads and more as I learn and grow with the Association.
Just a little bit about me! My family and I just moved to the Valentine area in December from the outskirts of Cheyenne, Wyoming! And luckily for us there is a lot LESS wind here! I grew up in a small-town North of Denver, Colorado. I attended college in Sterling, Colorado where I played softball and received a degree in education. I met my husband soon after graduating college, and our life began together in South Dakota! We have a two-year-old son, who is full of life and laughter, and his whole world revolves around tractors and cows! He definitely keeps us busy! We are so excited to call Valentine home and can’t wait to see what’s in store for us here!
I am so excited to get to know and work with everyone down at the Sandhills Cattle Association!
Some more news about what’s happening here at the Association, we have finally moved in to our new location, south of town on highway 20 at the Prairie Plaza Center. So stop in and say hi and see our new office!
Other news! It’s that time of year again to renew your memberships! So if you have not already done so please contact us so we can get you renewed for the 2021 year or in the center of the newsletter, there will be an insert with the Membership Request Form! Fill that out and send back to us or to make things easier, give us a call and we can renew your membership over the phone!
