September 2021 From the President's Desk

September, fall is knocking on the door, and it's convention month for the SCA. Everyone loves a great convention, and I look forward to the SCA convention each year. It is an important event for not only me but for fellow SCA members as well. The SCA is fortunate to have great support from our members and communities when hosting our annual convention. Our regular sponsors continue to support us significantly each year, and we are gaining support from several other sponsors with each convention! We are so thankful for each and every one of you. This year's lineup of entertainment and informative speakers is sure to entertain and provide quality information pertaining to many aspects of the ranching business. One of the most critical elements of the SCA convention is the fellowship among members attending. The convention is a sure-fire way to encourage each other and share both informative ideas and support from fellow ranchers that we call friends. I have great respect for my fellow associates and their cattle ranching business as I know the hard work and adversities we each face, yet the joy of a wholesome job well done. I am excited and looking forward to this year's 82nd Annual Convention. I encourage you to join us in the yearly celebration of this exceptional association and all of its members!
